Cloud Computing Projects in Chennai

Cloud computing is now adapted by various companies. There are many advantages of cloud computing such as anytime, anywhere access, scalability, resilience, and reliability. But every advantage comes with its share of disadvantages. Cloud computing leads to unauthorized access, loss of data integrity, disclosure of sensitive data, and change in data during communication. So, companies are apprehensive of moving their entire data infrastructure to the cloud. This is were cryptography comes to help.

The data encryption can happen inside the company before the data is transferred to the cloud. Algorithms such as Serpent, AES, and Blowfish are used to encrypt the data. Asymmetric or symmetric algorithms can be used for cryptography.

All encryption is done through few encryption keys. Once the encryption is done the keys have to be protected. If someone has access to both the the data and encryption key it can result in disaster to the data. So keys are usually stored on a key store. The key can be stored in a USB pen drive or in a specialized storage space in the trusted environment.
